AVI10 – Visual Arts is a dynamic, hands-on course that invites students to discover and develop their creative potential through visual expression. Through engaging studio projects and guided experimentation, students learn how to apply line, shape, colour, space, and texture to create meaningful artwork. They explore a variety of techniques and materials—including drawing, painting, printmaking, and mixed media—building confidence in both technical skill and personal style.
Beyond the studio, students develop visual literacy by analyzing and reflecting on the role of art across cultures and time periods. They explore how artistic movements, Indigenous art forms, and contemporary works express identity, tell stories, and shape society.
