Curriculum Overview

Unit 1: Foundations of Management
Students are introduced to core management theories and the roles of managers.
Lessons include:

  • Classical and Contemporary Management Theories

Unit 2: Leading and Team Development
This unit explores personality, leadership styles, and team dynamics.

Unit 4: Planning and Strategic Control

Unit 5: Organizational Structures and HR

Assessment Structre

  • 70% of the final grade is based on coursework, including:
    • Business strategy presentations and leadership reflections
    • Group role analyses and case study responses
    • Vision/mission statement writing and planning simulations
    • Unit tests and discussion board participation
  • 30% of the final grade is based on final evaluations:
    • 10% Culminating strategic leadership project
    • 20% Final exam on management theory, planning, and leadership practices
